The objective of this test is to learn the states and
capitals of the United States. You also have the option to study the spelling
of the states and capitals.
Secondary objective is to learn when the states entered the union. Additional
information about the state can also be seen. |
To learn the states, you have the option to first
narrow down the amount of states being tested by clicking on the test setup
buttons and excluding a region of the United States. Select multiple choice for
the answer type.
After the desired settings are selected click the done button. The test will
now only test the selected region. Click ready to start the test. When you are
testing with the multiple choice as the answer type, take the opportunity to
study the spelling of the state so that when you switch to fill in the blank,
you will have a better chance at spelling the state correctly.
When you have those states memorized click the test settings again and add
another region by reselecting the corresponding checkbox. Click done and test
again. Continue this until all of the states are tested using multiple choice
as the answer type.
Now enter the test settings and change the answer type to fill in the blank.
You can exclude some of the regions again to help split up the number of states
studied at one time.
When you know how to spell those states based on the picture, continue to add
the regions that you excluded until all the states are being tested.
Congratulations you now know the states of the USA.
You can now change the question to what is the capital and start studying
again.
If you want to study when the states entered the union, you can also select
that question and start testing again.
We hope you enjoyed learning the states and capitals of the United States.
